Cow skins (natural hair intact)

One of the most remarkable products of evolution found in the animal kingdom is cattle. Cattle owe their name to the different tribes that live in Southern Africa. The ancestors of the present day, brought cattle into the country by the southward migration of African peoples from the central lakes area of Africa. These cattle are still found wherever the descendants of the original groups of the tribe settled, namely Swaziland, Zululand and Mozambique.

Colour patterns

Cattle can be divided into 5 different categories, each with different characteristics.

The categories are:

• Cowhide with Leopard Print
• Cowhide with Zebra Print
• Red Dyed
• Natural White
• Nkone with mirror image
• Two colours (other than Nkone)
• Three colours
• Roan
• Solid
