Our History
We opened our doors officially in 2004 but have been an active role-player in the game skins and upholstery leather industry since 1999.

Our mission is to provide genuine African animal skins and upholstery leather of exceptional quality at competitive prices while providing prompt delivery.

We are a proud family business, and we celebrate the important role of every staff member in our team.
Director Ian Otto is the driving force behind African Leather & Skins. He is experienced and owns extensive knowledge of the animal skins and upholstery leather industry. He also has a sound understanding of the technical and chemical components of leather and game skin tanning.
Ian applies his knowledge and skill set to ensure that African Leather & Skins is always at the forefront of product innovation. In addition, he often travels throughout South Africa and the neighbouring countries to source only the best quality products for our clients while ensuring a consistent supply of top-quality skins and upholstery leather.
